It’s Been a While—Here’s What We’ve Been Up To! 🌟
Hello everyone!
It’s been many days since our last update here, but rest assured, we haven’t been idle. We have been hard at work, making exciting progress on the game, squashing bugs, and bringing new content to life. While we haven’t shared new public builds recently, our Patrons have been receiving regular updates. They’re currently enjoying version 0.4.3, and the next one is already on the horizon!
We wanted to take a moment to reconnect and share the highlights of what’s been happening behind the scenes.
Here’s a quick recap of everything we’ve accomplished recently.

Unlimited Gameplay—Freedom to Explore! 🌅
In the demo version, gameplay ended at the beginning of the 4th day, but starting with version 0.4.1, our Patrons have been able to play without any time limits! This change required a lot of effort on our part, as the previous time restriction allowed us to tightly control the player’s movements and how they spent their time.
To support this freedom, we introduced morning meetings, where players decide which job they want to take on for the day. These meetings have become a dynamic part of the game, with unique dialogues where characters comment on quests you’ve completed, adding more depth to the story.
We also added a job selection table during these meetings. This handy feature shows you where each character will be working based on your choice, making it easier to plan your day, interact with your favorite characters, and progress through quests. This new system ensures you have all the information you need to make strategic decisions and enjoy the game at your own pace.
Table you see when selecting your work. In this example you can see that if you choose to work at the reception desk for the day, you'll have a free evening with Fuyuko, while Shun will be tending the bar.

Revamping Core Mechanics for a Better Experience! 🚀
Since the release of the first public demo, we’ve received plenty of constructive feedback from players. Additionally, the introduction of unlimited gameplay has given us a fresh perspective on certain mechanics, inspiring us to make meaningful improvements. After the last public demo, we decided to enhance several core systems to make the experience even more engaging and dynamic.
One major change is the expanded reception job. Guests no longer ask only about their rooms—they might also inquire about the weather, currency exchange rates, or other details relevant to their stay. This added variety makes the task more immersive. Similarly, the bar job now features adaptive tempo, where the speed of incoming guests depends on how quickly you mix drinks. This creates a more responsive and rewarding gameplay loop.
The energy system and nighttime interactions have also been significantly revamped:
- Locked Nights: Initially, nights are locked, and you’ll automatically go to bed. However, after completing Quest 004, you can purchase a permanent item from the store to explore at night.
- Full Recovery: Sleeping at night fully restores your energy bar, giving you a fresh start each day.
- Varied Energy Costs: Energy costs for actions are now more diverse. Some activities will consume energy but not take up time, offering new strategic possibilities.
- Work Energy Deduction: The energy required for your chosen job is now deducted during the morning meeting, so you won’t have to worry about running out mid-day.
These changes make daily activities more interactive and strategic, ensuring the gameplay remains fresh and engaging throughout your journey at Komadori Inn.

New Scenes and Stories Unfolding! 🎭
Implementing these updates required a tremendous amount of work, and our Patrons testing the game reported a significant number of bugs along the way. Fixing these issues became our top priority—it was essential to address them immediately to ensure a smoother gameplay experience and prevent further complications down the line. However, focusing on these fixes inevitably came at the cost of producing less new content, including storylines, scenes, and illustrations.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing Patrons for their invaluable feedback and support. Especially to to Denivleur, zbuziz, Cucumis, Fobdimm and Josema0890. Your detailed reports and patience have been instrumental in improving the game, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
Despite these challenges, we’ve made progress. Since version 0.4.0:
- Quests 003 and 005 have been completed, unlocking handjobs from Shun
- Quests 007, 008, and 009 have been added (though only 007 is fully completable).
- Completing Quest 007 unlocks a brand-new scene and an additional sex position with Fuyuko, giving players more intimate moments to discover.
Quest 005 concludes with a heartfelt conversation with Shun. Afterward, you earn your first Intimacy Level with her, paving the way for sexy times.
